Sara Schabert

Sara Schabert serves as Senior Vice President – Strategy and Transformation for Laureate Education, Inc., where she plays the central role in shaping the company’s growth strategy, overseeing ongoing transformation efforts, and driving the adoption of AI and digital innovation across the organization.

Sara brings more than 20 years of experience across consulting, technology, and manufacturing. She spent ten years at McKinsey & Company, most recently as an Associate Partner based in LatAm, advising higher education institutions and investors on growth strategies and large-scale transformations, including organic and inorganic levers and digital/AI enablement.

Prior to this, Sara spent ten years at Caterpillar Inc. in various sale and marketing leadership positions across Latin America.

She has strong ties in Silicon Valley, both as a Stanford University alumna and through her earlier leadership role at Salesforce, where she focused on global marketing and sales enablement for the company’s full suite of solutions.

Sara holds a Master of Science in Management from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Mining Engineering from the University of Alberta.
