Raúl Caraballo serves as Academic Vice President at Laureate Mexico, where he leads the definition and implementation of the academic strategy for UVM and UNITEC. Raúl works closely with faculty and stakeholders to design innovative educational models, integrate emerging technologies into the curriculum, and ensure the highest standards in programmatic and institutional accreditation. His leadership has been instrumental in strengthening the academic quality, reputation, and social impact of both institutions.
With more than 15 years at Laureate Mexico, Raúl has held senior operational roles at UVM and has played a central role in driving initiatives that foster teaching excellence, student success, and institutional growth. Beyond his responsibilities at Laureate, he actively contributes to the education sector through his participation on the boards of the UN Global Compact Mexico, Coursera for Campus, and COPARMEX, where he promotes dialogue and collaboration to advance education in Mexico.
Raúl holds a Veterinary Zootechnician degree and a Master of Health Sciences from UNAM, as well as a Graduate Certificate in Business Management from Walden University.
