Lucy Valdez

Lucy Valdez serves as Vice President of Transformation Processes at Laureate Mexico, where she leads strategic and transformation initiatives that drive institutional growth and enhance the student experience at UVM and UNITEC. She oversees the corporate agenda and governance model, ensuring alignment between enterprise projects and the organization’s long-term vision.

Since joining Laureate in 2018, Lucy has served as Chief of Staff to the CEO, managing the portfolio of strategic and transformational initiatives for Mexico. In this role, she played a key part in coordinating cross-functional efforts, streamlining decision-making, and advancing projects that have strengthened operational effectiveness across the institutions.

Lucy holds an MBA with a focus on Organizational Development from UVM and a D-1 Management Program certificate from IPADE Business School.
