With over 15 years of experience in leadership and operational management within the education sector, Georgina Gómez has spearheaded strategies for expansion, operational efficiency, and enhanced student experience. She currently serves as Vice President of Operations at Laureate Mexico, where she leads strategic execution and process optimization to benefit the group’s institutions.
Before joining Laureate, she served as CEO of Universidad del Desarrollo Profesional and, prior to that, as COO of Aliat Universidades, where for over eight years she oversaw national operations for one of the largest private education networks in Mexico. Her career has focused on driving institutional transformation and continuous improvement by developing innovative models for academic and operational management.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Tecnológico de Monterrey, an MBA with a specialization in Marketing and Sales from IAE Lyon School of Management, an Executive Leadership Certificate from Cornell University, and a Driving Innovation and Operational Excellence Certificate from Stanford University. She is trilingual, fluent in French, English, and Spanish.
