Álvaro Valdez

Álvaro Valdez  serves as Vice President of Face-to-Face Operations for UPC, UPN and Cibertec.  Álvaro oversees nineteen campuses across Peru, is responsible of the re enrollment campaigns, and leads strategic initiatives focused on growth, expansion, and operational efficiency.

Before joining Laureate in 2022, Álvaro held roles in higher education, industry, and business consulting, leading multidisciplinary teams across operational and academic functions. Within the education sector, he served as Academic Director for four years at Universidad Tecnológica del Perú (UTP).

Álvaro holds an MBA from Babson College in the United States, and a degree in industrial engineering.
