Since 1994, UPC has been a leader in sparking creativity and innovation. With a diverse student body of over 70,000 across four campuses, the university is on a mission to groom a new generation leaders who will shape Peru's future.
Offering a broad range of academic programs, including 57 undergraduate and 40 postgraduate programs, UPC is dedicated to helping students thrive personally and professionally. This commitment has led to its recognition as the university with the highest reputation in education in Peru for the fourth consecutive year, according to the MERCO 2024 ranking. This ranking recognizes organizations with the best reputation at the national level. Additionally, UPC has secured the 11th position in the overall ranking of the top 100 institutions with the best reputation in the country.
This commitment is also reflected in the ranking among the top five Peruvian universities in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2025, ISO 9001 (Quality Management System), ISO 21001 (Management System for Educational Organizations) certifications and recognition as one of the most sustainable universities in Peru by MERCO ESG.
In 2016, UPC made history as the first and only Peruvian university to achieve a 10-year accreditation from WASC Senior College and University Commission. This prestigious recognition, shared with institutions like Stanford, Caltech, Berkeley and UCLA, underscores UPC's unwavering dedication to providing top-tier education.
Since 1994, UPN has been building futures at its campuses in Trujillo, Cajamarca, and Lima – and in the lives of its graduates far past graduation. With over 4,500 staff, 130,000 students, and 70,000 alumni, UPN is a bustling and growing community. Cibertec has been providing best-in-the-market training in IT, management, design, communications, industrial technology, and other growing fields for more than four decades. Home to over 20,000 students across seven modern campuses, Cibertec specializes in preparing students to thrive in (and create) the economy of tomorrow.
According to a recent Ipsos survey, Cibertec is advancing towards this goal, emerging as the top choice for IT studies in Peru. The school’s unwavering focus on educational quality, service excellence, and technological integration probably has something to do with it.
