During the first two days, there were 11 keynote lectures and four panels with renowned Peruvian and foreign experts from the United States, Spain, Germany, Mexico, Brazil, Israel, and Chile. On the third day, there were 28 workshops on different topics, including: educational coaching, innovation in preschool education, bullying, competency-based education, and attention to diversity, among others.
Educators attending the event concluded that in the face of continuing global challenges, they must educate competent citizens who are ready to face them. Therefore, education must be innovative, dynamic, and incorporate the latest technological developments. In order for education to be truly integral, institutions should include courses on emotional intelligence and leadership in curriculum to enhance students’ competencies.
