Universidade Anhembi Morumbi and FMU Education Group Students Win the 3rd GoWhere Young Talent Culinary Arts Competition

Gabriela Ramos, culinary arts student from Universidade Anhembi Morumbi, won GoWhere magazine’s 3rd Competition for Culinary Arts for Young Talents. As the winner of the Brazilian magazine competition, she earned an internship at the Alma School in Parma, Italy, with all expenses paid.
Second place was won by Célia Marques, a culinary arts student from the FMU Education Group. Marques will receive an all expenses paid trip to Bahía.
For Ramos, participating in the competition has opened a new world of opportunties for her to apply what she has learned at Universidade Anhembi Morumbi. “I was able to test lots of different techniques and recipes and ingredients, to get to my final plate,”she said. Ramos will depart for Italy soon and said the victory has reinforced her belief that she will be successful in the field.
Marques remarked that winning second place was very satisfying, and that she appreciated the kind words that Chef Sergio Arno and the jury had regarding her work. “Participating in the presence of such a well known jury was certainly not easy, especially when I had to serve the dish to them. Their guidance and advice will play a crucial role in the next steps I take in the profession.”
