Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas Recognizes Dr. Josep Coll Bertran as Honorary Professor

Recently, Dr. Josep Coll Bertran was recognized as an honorary professor at Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas (UPC) for his professional and academic achievements. To honor Dr. Coll, Dr. Edward Roekaert, rector of UPC, hosted a recognition ceremony, which was attended by university leadership and members of the university community.

Dr. Coll, an industrial engineer who focuses on industrial organization at Universidad Politécnica de Cataluña, currently teaches undergraduate programs at Universidad Politécnica de Cataluña and graduate programs at Universidad Oberta de Catalunya.

Guillermo Quiroga, director of the graduate school at UPC, highlighted Dr. Coll’s significant contributions to creating a new generation of professors with doctoral degrees, as well as his work to support research development. Rector Roekaert highlighted the work that’s underway between Universidad Politécnica de Cataluña and Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas and its impact on the university’s students. 

Dr. Josep Coll Bertran thanked the university for observing his efforts and for the many years of productive partnership between Universidad Politécnica de Cataluña and Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas to support the development of education and professionals.
