Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas Hosts Global Google I/O Extended Developers Event

In partnership with the local Google Developer Group (GDG- Lima) community, Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas (UPC) Campus Villa hosted the Google I/O Extended event featuring conferences, panels, and a first look at Google’s tools and products for developers.

The event featured a broadcast of the Google I/O Extended 2018 event in San Francisco, California, as well as workshops, panels, and presentations by local and international experts. Main speakers included Rosa María Orellana, Google Developer Expert Product Strategy, who discussed the latest Google tools for product design, and Juan Camilo Lema, Google Developer Expert UX, who talked about the advantages of the Design Sprint methodology to prototype a product.

The Google I/O Extended event is aimed at companies and institutions, entrepreneurs and mentors, technology specialists, as well as students of business, management, engineering, and marketing. By organizing events of this kind, UPC stregthens its commitment to contribute to the generation of knowledge by providing spaces for inclusive dialogue and discussion with different community stakeholders.
