Universidad Europea Hosts The General Assembly Of Multinationals For Marca España

Earlier this year, Universidad Europea (UE) organized the general assembly of the organization Multinationals for Marca España (MME). The event was held at the HUB Emprende accelerator space at UE’s Alcobendas Campus and gathered representatives from the 42 member companies. The meeting began with a summary of the activities carried out in 2016, such as creating the Advisory Council, with top executives in Spain from the members of MME. 

At the assembly, the representatives also formally welcomed the new member companies that have joined the association since the last General Assembly held on July 7, 2016, which include Laureate International Universities, Stihl, New Holland, P&G and Discovery Networks. Adolfo Aguilar, President of MME, stressed the work carried out by the association over its two and a half years of activity. He highlighted the constant growth of MME, which has incorporated new sector companies, organized top-level activities and meetings with institutional and business representatives, etc. Aguilar closed his speech by congratulating member companies for their loyal commitment to projecting Spain as a preferential destination for generating wealth and employment.

UE has been a member since 2016 and José María Palomares, Director of Communication and International Relations of Laureate International Universities in Spain and Portugal, is a member of the governing board. Other member companies include Weber Shandwick, Thales, Accenture, Google Spain, Siemens, ING Bank, Deloitte, AON, Bureau Veritas, Diageo, EY, Facebook Spain, Heineken España, HomeAway, HSBC Bank, Huawei, Ketchum and L’Oréal.
