Universidad De Las Américas In Chile Receives 4-Year Accreditation by the National Accreditation Commission

In early December, Universidad de Las Américas (UDLA) was notified by the National Accreditation Commission (CNA) that it had obtained a new institutional accreditation for a period of four years, valid from March 2019 to March 2023.

UDLA Rector Pilar Romaguera said this renewed accreditation “is a recognition of the hard work and commitment of the entire community: academics, faculty, students, alumni, and collaborators. Everybody’s commitment to collaborating during this process helped us demonstrate that UDLA is an excellent university. Thank you all for working together to achieve this goal.”

“The consolidation of our student-centric model and the implementation of a quality model have been key in guaranteeing our commitment to offering a high quality education and continuous improvement. The consolidation of the Integrated Student Support System has been a remarkable contribution to our improvements, as well as the Graduate Profile System, which monitors our student’s education process to ensure that they are truly prepared for the demands of the job market,” she added.

Rector Romaguera was grateful for the hard work and support of the academic community, noting, “Academics, faculty, and staff have been instrumental to achieve this goal; their daily commitment to every student and every class is what makes our educational project a reality. Thank you all so much! We are a great community and we must remain committed to this richness that is our hallmark and continue working together as we have done to this day.”
