UniRitter Students Visit Cibertec in Peru
In January, a group of UniRitter students visited Cibertec-ITN in Lima, Peru. The initiative was coordinated by UniRitter’s international office with the goal of promoting cultural exchange and increasing contacts between university students from different countries.
For one week, UniRitter students participated in a number of seminars, including “Business Opportunities and National Reality,” presented by Professor Antonio Andrade, “Business in Social Networks,” by Professor Eduardo Mejía and “Coaching for Globalized Professional Development,” presented by Carlos Rojas.
Students had the opportunity to visit several cultural landmarks, including the Lima Historical Center and the famous catacombs – a series of underground passages that serve as home to the remains of more than 25,000 former inhabitants of the city. In addition, they visited companies like Gloria SA and the Backus & Johnston Union of Breweries.
According to Professor Mozart Lemos de Siqueira, the coordinator of the program, the students had the chance to learn from an institution outside their home country that is also part of the Laureate network. This was the second organized visit of students between the two institutions, following a similar visit of Cibertec students to UniRitter in November 2014.
