UNIFACS is the Only Institution in Brazil Selected to Participate in Ford Scholarship Program

Universidade Salvador was the only university in Brazil selected to participate in the Alan Mulally Leadership in Engineering scholarship program created by the Ford Motor Company. The program, which will recognize 10 students from around the world in 2015, provides a scholarship of $10,000 for students to pursue studies in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, electronics and computer science.

In addition to receiving financial support to pursue their studies, winners join a mentorship program created by Ford that will facilitate access to professional opportunities with the multinational company.

A group of UNIFACS professors will select the top candidate from the university. Students must be between the third and sixth semester of their program, have good English proficiency and be able to show proof of their academic achievements and contributions to their community.
