Stamford International University Hosts Communication Arts Day

Stamford International University hosted their 2016 Commercial Arts Day on Wednesday, Jan. 13th at the Rama 9 Bangkok campus. More than 150 eager students participated in this special event. Popular TV celebrity, Mr. Woody, showed up and encouraged students to be creative and make a difference in the world. The morning’s panel discussion on “New Media Technology” included:
- Mr. Vuthithorn Milintachinda (Woody) Owner, Woody World Co., Ltd.
- Mr. Anothai Udomsilp, Director of Academic Institute, Thai PBS
- Mr. Thanapongphan Thanyarattakul, Co-Founder and CEO of 2 3 Perspective, Digital Groove and Shoppening
- Mr Suvita Charanwong, Chief User Experience & Founder of Redlab
In the afternoon there was a series of four workshops led by the faculty of Liberal Arts, the faculty of Creative Media Design, and leading industry experts. The topics included:
- ‘Generating Creativity’ by Ms. Rotsukon Gonggate (Kru Ngor) Acting Coach, the Drama Academy
- ‘Immersive Media Design in Visual Communication’ by Mr. Vorapoj Songcharoen lecturer, Bangkok University International College
- ‘Storytelling: Creative Secrets and the New Approach’ by Mr. Sanpathit Tavijaroen, executive creative director, the Leo Burnett Group Thailand
- ‘Creative Media Design’ by CMD Alumni
