Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas (UPC)

Founded in 1994, Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas (UPC) is a leading higher  education institution focused on excellence and innovation to train future professionals to be leaders of change. It offers 40 undergraduate programs within the schools of Hospitality and Tourism Administration, Architecture, Contemporary Arts, Health Sciences, Human Sciences, Communications, Law, Design, Economics, Education, Engineering, Business, and Psychology. UPC also offers 20 current graduate programs.     

UPC is recognized for its modern infrastructure and the strategic locations of its four campuses in Lima: Monterrico, San Isidro, San Miguel, and Villa. Thanks to its commitment to provide a global education for its students, UPC has earned the title of the most international university in Peru five years in a row, according to the America Economía University Ranking in Peru. In 2016, UPC became the first and only Peruvian university institutionally accredited at the highest level by WASC, an accreditation agency officially recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. In 2018, SINEACE, the public institution in charge of the assurance of academic quality in Peru, recognized UPC’s WASC accreditation.
