Torrens University Australia

Established in 2012, Torrens University Australia is the first new university in Australia in 20 years. The university has over 11,500 enrolled students across campuses in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, China, and online. The university embraces a hybrid learning model, offering many students the flexibility to study online from anywhere in the world as well as the traditional on-campus experience. All campus-based and online programs are carefully curated to provide students with the best opportunities across a range of disciplines—including design, creative technology, business, health, education and hospitality. The university offers courses at vocational, undergraduate, and postgraduate levels of study.

Torrens University brings an innovative, industry-focused, and global perspective to higher education, and is committed to facilitating learning that helps students find a career they love. Courses are tailored to equip graduates with a globally oriented skill-set that will make them valuable to any employer.

Since 2012, Torrens University has integrated three established private institutions into its network. Blue Mountains International Hotel Management School (BMIHMS), New Zealand’s Media Design School (MDS), and Billy Blue College of Design are now proudly part of Torrens University.

Accredited by the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency (TEQSA) in 2012, Torrens University commenced teaching in 2014. For more information on Torren University’s academic programs, visit their website.
