Over the Moon Nominated for Two New Zealand Film Awards

Media Design School’s short film, Over the Moon, has been nominated for two Rialto Channel New Zealand Film Awards.
Over the Moon, Media Design School’s most ambitious project to date, is up against four other films that are all vying for the title of the Halcyon Digital Best Self-Funded Short Film.
Anna Jullienne, the very talented actress who plays Connie Radar in Over the Moon, is also up for an award. She was nominated for the Best Short Film Actress award.
The film, based on the Connie Radar comic series by Karl Wills, was created by award-winning director James Cunningham and 15 bachelor of art and design students, who worked for 23 weeks and 18,000 hours to complete the film.
The Rialto Channel New Zealand Film Awards will be presented on Friday, Dec. 12. You can watch them live on the NZ Herald Online website.
