Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas journal is 1st in Peru to be indexed internationally

The Digital Journal of University Teaching Research (La Revista Digital de Investigación en Docencia Universitaria - RIDU), which is published by the Educational Quality Research Group from Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas (UPC), is the first Peruvian journal focused on research related to university teaching that has been added to Latindex, an international index that catalogs leading sources on scientific and cultural research in Latin America, the Caribbean, Spain and Portugal.

After two years of hard work, the Education Quality Research Group, composed of Mirian Grimaldo, Mario Reyes, Nohemí Marcelo, Karen Macavilca and Eduardo Manzanares, achieved this important recognition for UPC by complying with 33 of the 36 criteria required to be included in the catalog.

To date, there are seven editions of RIDU, published annually each December. Current and past issues of RIDU can be read at their website:

RIDU is an important example of the work that UPC is doing to support Peru’s continued development.
