Universidad Tecnológica Centroamericana (UNITEC) is focused on providing students from the new medicine and surgery program with the best opportunities to earn hands on practice and develop the interpersonal skills needed for success. To accomplish this goal they have entered into a new agreement with the Zoe Health Center.
This new partnership will provide students with outstanding opportunities to earn clinical experience in a number of different medical specializations. Students will have the option to participate in workshops, community development projects and medical trips organized by the center that will take place throughout Honduras. The university will provide the center with technical support in biomedicine, computer infrastructure and a large, growing number of highly qualified future employees.
The agreement was signed by Rector Luis Orlando Zelaya from UNITEC and by Evelio Reyes, president of the board of directors of Sociedad Cultural Espiritual Evangélica Amigos, which operates the Zoe Health Center.
