Two students from Universidad de Las Américas Ecuador (UDLA) were selected to participate in the international internship program hosted by Tesalia Spring CBC. Vicky Robalino, a student in UDLA’s international business program, and Francisco Ávalos, a student in the agro-industrial eEngineering program, were among a total of four selected for this international opportunity.
Robalino and Ávalos were among more than 1,000 students from throughout Ecuador to apply for this opportunity. They stood out during a long selection process that included tests of specific knowledge and language skills and interviews with CBC leaders.
The program, which is four months in length and includes three months in Guatemala, puts the students to work in areas related to their field of study. It aims to help the students apply their knowledge and develop a strategic understanding of the company’s business. CBC created the program to recognize top students from the region and give them the opportunity to pursue full time employment with the company.
