A rural sea-side setting and the finest classical music were a perfect combination for the performance of the traditional Quintay Concert, which in this occasion brought together more than a thousand participants.
Before the concert, the rector of the Universidad Andrés Bello, Dr. Pedro Uribe Jackson reminded the audience that the university’s research facility at Quintay is celebrating its 20th anniversary and invited attendees to learn more about the work done at the CIMARQ Center for Marine Research.
"Throughout the day we celebrated our arrival to Quintay, we shared with children and young people realizing what the Quintay Marine Research Center (Cimarq) has done in this sector, which brings research together with the environment," said Dr. Uribe.
Accompanied by a warm climate and a beautiful full moon over a thousand concert-goers enjoyed the talents of the Universidad Andrés Bello University Camerata, under the direction of Santiago Meza and music from Corelli, Haydn, Albinoni and Rameau.
