AIEP students participate in international program at Santa Fe University of Art and Design

Students earned scholarships from AIEP for academic excellence

Instituto Profesional AIEP recognized 9 students for academic excellence with a one month scholarship to study at the Santa Fe University of Art and Design (SFUAD), a sister institution in the Laureate International Universities network. The scholarship program will provide these students with new opportunities to develop new skills and enhance their English at Santa Fe’s campus in New Mexico.

Founded in 1859 as St. Michael’s College and adopting a new name in 2010 to reflect its academic mission, the Santa Fe University of Art & Design specializes in art and design programs. The University has one the only fully functional movie studios (Garson Studio) on a university campus in the United States. During their program at Santa Fe, AIEP students will enroll in language classes and various academic workshops on various subjects that will enhance their learning. The young students, who are enrolled in AIEP’s Costume Design, Graphic Design, Theatre, and Business Administration degree programs, are also very excited for the opportunity to visit and learn about Santa Fe, while they are exposed to a life-changing experience.

"AIEP is proud to send these 9 students to the U.S. to improve their skills and to learn. We have no doubt that these scholarships will have a positive impact on them, as this is a unique experience. We hope they take full advantage of this great opportunity." said Jesus Villate, Rector of AIEP.
