 AIEPFounded in 1965, AIEP is a tech-voc institute that prepares its students to became professional and technicians capable inserting themselves into the labor world, engaging the institution to the professional development of people in different areas of knowledge throughout the country. AIEP is an educational establishment that fulfills the aspirations of more those that look for a better life for them and their families.

Nearly 96 thousand students are enrolled in programs on the institute’s 24 campuses, in Calama, Antofagasta, La Serena, San Felipe, Viña del Mar, Valparaíso, Bellavista, Providencia, San Joaquín, Barrio Universitario, Santiago Norte, San Bernardo, San Antonio, Rancagua, Curicó, San Fernando, Talca, Concepción, Los Ángeles, Temuco, Osorno, Puerto Montt and Castro. AIEP forms a community of 4,500 faculty members, nearly 100,000 graduates and 1,500 collaborators. The National Accreditation Commission granted AIEP five years of Institutional Accreditation in the areas of Institutional Management and Undergraduate Teaching until October 2022. The institution began voluntary accreditation process for its programs, and today 87% of students take accredited programs. It was the first higher education institution in the country to receive ISO 9001 and today holds the ISO 9001:2015 certification.  AIEP completed a rigorous assessment by B Lab® (www.bcorporation.net) and became a B Corp™ (Certified B Corporation®).

AIEP has more than 100 thousand alumni and holds an employability rate of 89% (first six months after graduation).

Students pursue undergraduate, technical and professional degrees in Health sciences, Construction and Engineering, Business, Information Technology, Social Development, Design, Art and Communications, Esthetics, Sound, Television and Locution, Sports, and Tourism and Gastronomy.  AIP currently offers 69 programs.

Additionally, AIEP has an Academic Extension Program that aside from implementing more than 25 public events from the ten schools every years, coordinates and implements the activities around the AIEP art room, AIEP Theater and Radio AIEP (http://radio.aiep.cl/).

AIEP has strengthened its social commitment looking to go beyond the work done in the classrooms and reaching out to the families and the community in which it operates. AIEP has additionally been certified as a B-Corporation and has put together a series of programs to increase the social and environment impact of its initiatives.
