Each year, Universidade Potiguar (UnP) has improved their ranking in the annual Guia do Estudante, which is published by Editora Abril. This year 21 undergraduate degree programs in Natal and Mossoró earned an impressive 65 stars. Scores are based on the quality of the institution's infrastructure, professor and graduate outcomes. UnP’s year over year improvements are proof that the university has continued to enhance their physical campuses and academic offerings.
“When we receive recognition like this from external groups, we feel like we are making progress in reaching our goals. These results are the result of the collective hard work and dedication of the entire university community. Our professors and employees are what make UnP unique”, said UnP's rector, Sâmela Gomes.
Every year the publisher Editora Abril conducts an analysis of all the higher education institutions in Brazil and publishes the results to help inform the public about different institutions. The Guia do Estudante is one of the country’s most respected higher education rankings, and awards between one and five stars to the programs that are deemed to be among the best in the country.
