Universidade Anhembi Morumbi University welcomed the international graphic designer David Grey between October 21 and 25. Professor Grey is chairman of the department of Graphic Design at the Santa Fe University of Art and Design.
While in Sao Paulo, Professor Grey delivered a three-day workshop to students from Anhembi’s School of Arts, Architecture, Design and Fashion.
Under the theme "Contemplative Design", the workshop, which was taught on Anhembi’s Morumbi campus, explored the value of three important stages of design: the design view, the practical application and its outcomes.
In addition to the workshop for students, throughout the week teachers and students from the Master's and Doctoral program in Design also had the opportunity to attend lectures given by the expert on teaching design methods.
The initiative is part of the 4th Interdisciplinary Encounter of the School of Art, Architecture, Design and Fashion, an event that promotes for three consecutive days, on Anhembi’s Morumbi, Centro and Paulista 2 campuses, extracurricular activities with the purpose of enriching the academic experiences of the school’s students while expanding their knowledge through innovative and interesting courses and related activities.
