Universidade Anhembi Morumbi’s Academic Pro-Rector receives award
Professor Dr. Josiane Tonelotto, Academic Pro-Rector of Universidade Anhembi Morumbi, was one of several leaders recognized with the Women's Excellence Award in 2012. The ceremony took place on March 27th at the headquarters of Sírio Sports Club in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
Directed by CIESP / FIESP - South District and Fraternidade Aca Laurência, the award honors successful women who have excelled in the social, professional, business and political leadership.
For Dr. Josiane Tonelotto it was an honor to be recognized for the value of her contributions and work. "I am delighted with this honor, as well as being recognized for the effort and work I have contributed to the field of education, especially through Universidade Anhembi Morumbi, which proves that women have earned their place in society and the labor market," she said.
In addition to Dr. Tonelotto several other women were recognized for their contributions, including Amanda de Moraes Rego Souza, director of Dante Pazzanese Hospital; Denise Fraga, an actress from Rede Globo; Eleonora Menicucci, Minister of the Secretary of Policy for Women; Eloisa de Souza Arruda, State Secretary of Justice; Eliana Belchior, Minister of Planning; Izabella Teixeira, Minister of Environment; Silvia Afif Domingos, wife of Deputy Governor of the State; Wanderléa, singer of the Young Guard; and Telma Sabolh, president of Volunteers of the Albert Einstein Hospital.
