Gilmar Mendes, a minister of Brazil’s federal supreme court visited Faculdade dos Guararapes (FG) to deliver a special lecture to students in the law degree program. The topic of Minister Mendes’ speech was the 25th anniversary of Brazil’s federal constitution. The meeting took place on the campus at Jaboatão Guararapes in the metropolitan region of Recife (PE).
The full audience included several officials including Judge José Paulo Cavalcanti Filho, the mayor of Jaboatão Guararapes, Elias Gomes, and councilors Raul Jungmann (PPS) and Régis André (PSDB), who is also director of FG’s school of law.
