Centro Universitário do Norte (UniNorte) has won the Amazonian Advertising and Marketing Award for the fourth year in a row. The award, which was established 40 years ago, is sponsored by VR Consulting. The award was delivered on December 4th at the Fieam auditorium in Manaus.
The research which led to the recognition is sponsored by Action Market Research and showed that UniNorte is the private higher education institution that is most remembered by consumers when asked about which university or college is at the top of their mind.
Carolina Degaspari, UniNorte’s marketing manager, received the award from Xavier Eulalia, director of the event. "It's always an honor to be at the top of mind of people and even more so knowing that behind this there is high quality work being done by the university’s academic and administrative areas, allowing the UniNorte brand to not only be seen but also remembered as a leader in the market," said Carolina.
Students from UniNorte’s Public Relations program were also recognized in the academic papers category: Natália Monteiro, Jessica Seixas and Robert Muller came in second with "Paper does not grow on trees" and Igor Santos, Francisco Barbosa, Tatiane Pereira and Fabian Souza came in third with the campaign for the brand "Tarffi Bags".
The Amazonian Advertising and Marketing Award was created to honor work in marketing and advertising and has become the benchmark in the field in Manaus. Altogether 27 brands were honored in segments ranging from universities, to IT firms, restaurants, and retail stores.
