Istanbul Bilgi University’s Energy Museum wins award

In April 2012, İstanbul Bilgi University’s Energy Museum was recognized by the European Museum Academy (EMA) with the DASA Award.  This is the first year the DASA Award has been awarded by the EMA.

The European Museum Academy is a society of museum experts from a variety of different national and cultural backgrounds that is focused on promoting the advancement of museological knowledge. As part of their mission to recognize leading institutions throughout the region, the EMA organizes the annual Micheletti Award, which was established to recognize excellence in industry, technology and science museums. The awards are also open to museums focused on the 20th Century (history, social, political, and military), which reflects the widening scope of the work of the Micheletti Foundation.
