Banco Popular and Universidad Europea (UE) are celebrating the third graduation of students from the Master in Business Administration (MBA) program that was developed for the bank’s high potential employees. In addition to a full online program, students complete a number of different development activities with the bank.
The graduation ceremony was attended by Isabel Fernández, rector of UE; Francisco Gómez, general director of Banco Popular, Rafael Muñoz, director of human resources of Banco Popular; Rosa María Sánchez, director of development at Banco Popular; and Alfredo Rodríguez, academic director of the MBA.
The program was developed to provide employees with theory and hands-on activities. The majority of the courses are delivered online and students also complete a two week on site program that lasts two years and is focused on providing students with the skills they need for professional success. The final project for the program is focused on addressing strategic challenges for hypothetical situations, with guidance from university professors and mentors from the bank.
