The research project "RECIPROC® Efficient Alternating Movement in Treatment", which was created by the Center of Excellence for Research in Health and Life Sciences at Universidad Europea, has won the Award for Best Scientific Paper from a university in the Community of Madrid.
This award, given by the Official College of Dentistry, aims to recognize the best paper presented by Madrid universities that deliver degree programs in dentistry. The jury took into account scientific and technical quality, degree of innovation and feasibility and applicability in the real world. From all the papers submitted, the research project from Universidad Europea best met these stringent evaluation criteria.
The study evaluates the effectiveness of removing sealing material from ducts during the rotational and alternating movements of treatments. The project was carried out by Dr. Natalia Garcia Moneo, Dr. Óliver Valencia de Pablo, Dr. Roberto Estevez Luaña and Dr. Rafael Cisneros Cabello, Director of Universidad Europea’s Master in Advanced Endodontics and President of the Spanish Association of Endodontics AEDE.
