Magazine annually recognizes leading businesses and institutions through its Awards
Ejecutivos magazine recently held its XXII Executive Awards. In 2012, a total of fifteen groups were recognized. Otilia de la Fuente, director general of Universidad Europea de Madrid, received the award for Best Private University.
Ejecutivo’s Executive Awards are a benchmark of current economic and business trends in Spain. Each year they bring together the most influential executives and entrepreneurs in each of their sectors to recognize the work of those who have managed to effectively promote and propel the Spanish economy and industry. The work done by Universidad Europea de Madrid in conveying the importance of education in the development and progress of society was a key to earning nomination as Best Private University.
Isidro Faine, Chairman of "la Caixa", received the Executive of the Year award. The magazine also recognized the career of Maria Teresa Rodriguez Sainz-Rozas, president and CEO of Gullón Cookies, the FCC and the work of Endesa, who collected the award for Business of the Year. Also being recognized for awards were Zeltia Group (Internationalization), The Colomer Group (Excellence), OKI (Entrepreneurship), Makro (Leadership), Nintendo Ibérica (Business Strategy), Randstad (Brand Management), Hertz (Quality), Emirates (Customer Service), Gestiona (Electronic Management Solutions) and Samsung Electronics Iberia (Innovative Technology).
The awards were delivered by D. José Manuel Soria, Minister of Industry, Energy and Tourism.
