Stamford International University Student Receives Thai Royal Award

First Stamford International University student to receive prestigious award


Ms. Hataichanok Chantalucksuk, recipient of the 2012 Thai Royal Award for Outstanding Students

Since 1963, the Thai Royal Student Awards have been presented to outstanding students who are selected based on exemplary behavior and academic excellence. For Thai students, there is nothing that could induce more pride. This year, the Ministry of Education announced that Ms. Hataichanok Chantalucksuk, a third year student from the Faculty of Business Administration at Stamford International University, Bangkok campus received the 2012 Thai Royal Award for Outstanding Students. Ms. Hataichanok is the first Stamford student to ever receive this award. She was presented with this honor by Her Royal Highness, Princess Maha Chakri in Sirindhorn at the Dusidalai Hall, Chitralada Villa, Dusit Palace in Bangkok. Ms. Hataichanok received this award in recognition of her exceptional academic performance and her social contribution to the community. In addition to her business studies degree at Stamford, Ms. Hataichanok has been working in social work for the past several years. She is truly an example for all Thai students to follow.
