Stamford International University student wins the English Language Public Speaking Competition

Maria Isabel Macasieb, a second year student at Stamford International University, has won the 2013 English Language Public Speaking Competition. The competition was held by The School of Language & Culture, Technology Promotion Association (TPA) on June 22, 2013. This was the second year the competition has been held.

This year more than 30 participants from high schools and universities from throughout Thailand competed in the event this year. This is also the second year that a student from Stamford has won the competition. Maria follows Fernando Parella who won the first public speaking competition in 2012. Maria and Fernando have brought great pride to the entire Stamford International University community and the university looks forward to defending its top place in the competition in 2014.
