Jake Barnes successfully completed the Wieden+Kennedy Amsterdam's grueling Kennedys in-house apprenticeship program. His reward for surviving is a coveted full time position in the creative department of one of the world's greatest advertising agencies, responsible for Nike's “Just Do It” campaign, among others.
Barnes graduated from The AdSchool at Media Design School where he worked on many of NZ's top brands including Cadbury, McDonald's and The Warehouse. He was also part of the team behind the innovative “Compost the Weekend” initiative. He moved to Amsterdam to take on the six month Kennedys program and was presented an entirely new set of challenges, including working under the same crew who created “Write the Future” for Nike, along with endlessly exhausting new business pitches.

Now that the six month Kennedy program is finished, Jake will be working on accounts like Nike, EA Games, Heineken, Netflix, and Booking.com, providing him with even greater challenges ahead.
