On October 11, 2011, Kevin Roberts, the man himself, "The Sean Fitzpatrick of Advertising", Head of Saatchi & Saatchi Worldwide and Author of Lovemarks dropped in on Tuesday October 11th to speak to Media Design School students.

The students were very fortunate to have him inspire and encourage the group of students, faculty, staff and guests that heard him speak were all greatly energized by his talk. One of the highlights of his discussion was regarding the future of creative industries in New Zealand, saying

"The future of New Zealand depends upon the creative sector. What we mustn't do is create ideas that are world-class. Being world-class is completely inadequate. We must be world changing, and we can do that with ideas."

Adschool Leader Kate Humphries received some pretty impressive feedback from Kevin Roberts about two of last year's Adschool Graduates - Sarah Litwin-Schmidt and Emily Drake who were recently hired at Saatchi & Saatchi NZ. Well done!
