Special event to recognize and appreciate Malaysia’s dedicated educators


INTI hosts Teachers Convention

Close to 300 teachers from secondary schools were feted at INTI Teachers’ Convention in Kuala Lumpur, held in appreciation of the nation’s dedicated educators who go beyond the call of duty in educating and inspiring tomorrow’s leaders.

Organised for teachers to gain knowledge of new and alternative methods of teaching and learning, the convention was officiated by Datuk Dr. Khair bin Mohamad Yusof, Deputy Director-General of Education (Teaching Professionalism Development Sector), Malaysia’s Ministry of Education, and featured Colonel Professor Datuk Dr. Kamarudin Kachar, Executive Chairman and Chief Consultant, Global Higher Education Consultants and National Chief Scout Commissioner; and Professor Dato’ Ibrahim Ahmad Bajunid, Deputy Vice-Chancellor of INTI International University, among the speakers delivering insightful and inspiring messages on teaching and learning.

Two other teachers’ conventions were organized by INTI in Penang and Johor and over 40,000 roses and thank you notes had been delivered to school teachers all over Malaysia in conjunction with Teachers’ Day.
