Université Internationale de Casablanca (UIC) receives official private university status

Following the meetings of the Commission for the Coordination of Private Higher Education and the National Commission for Coordination of Higher Education on the 14th and 15th of July 2011, Université Internationale de Casablanca (UIC) earned official status as a Moroccan private university, consisting of a Faculty of Health Sciences, a School of Engineering and a Faculty of Business and Management.

This recognition reflects the quality of UIC's academic and administrative record that meets the educational standards and requirements of Morocco and the Laureate International Universities network. Through its membership in the Laureate International Universities network, UIC also complies with best international standards and benefits from the recognition of diplomas at the international level. All UIC students have the opportunity to spend a semester abroad in another network university. The first students will go on semester abroad in the month of September.

The Université Internationale de Casablanca is an innovative private university model that supports the goals needed for Morocco's future.
