Oscar Hipólito Joins the Brazilian Association of Corporate Communication’s Advisory Council

Professor Oscar Hipólito, chief academic officer of Laureate Brazil and rector of Universidade Anhembi Morumbi, is the newest member of the advisory council of the Brazilian Association of Corporate Communications (Conselho Consultivo da Associação Brasileira de Comunicação Empresarial, Aberje). Aberje was created 50 years ago to discuss and promote corporate and organizational communications in Brazil’s leading companies and organizations.

Some of the leading groups that participate in Aberje include Votorantim, Vale, Natura, Fiat, Basf, Petrobrás, Brasken, Itaú, Bradesco and Santander. The advisory council is composed of 32 members (27 from Brazil and five international), and focuses on designating best practices that should be adopted by the association and its member organizations.

“Professor Oscar Hipólito has been a strong ally of Aberje and our mission to enhance the field of communications. With his significant contributions in the fields of communication and education, Hipólito is a professional that lives the mission of Aberje and we look forward to beginning a new stage of our work together as he joins our advisory board,”

said the president of Aberje, Paulo Nassar.

“Aberje is, without question, an important group for the organizations and businesses in our country. Becoming part of its advisory council and supporting them in the making of decisions that will ensure its work continues is an honor,” confirmed Hipólito. He will serve a three year term and is eligible for re-election.
