Media Design School Students Win the TVNZ Axis Student Challenge Award

Hannah King and Sam Pascoe, students in the AdSchool at Media Design School, were recognized with the TVNZ Axis Student Challenge Award for their “Share the Drama” idea for Coke. This year the competition included student teams from Media Design School, AUT and Otago, all focused on leveraging their talent and expertise to create a new idea to promote products and services. 

“It was a terrifically, gnarly brief that really pushed the students’ thinking,” says AdSchool CD, Kate Humphries, “and the idea Sam and Hannah came up with cleverly used the drama of Shortland Street in an inspired way to ensure that not only Coke, but also Shortland Street would be kept on everyone’s lips over the long hot summer.”
