David A. Wilson Award for Excellence in Teaching and Learning


David A. Wilson Award for Excellence in Teaching and LearningIn October 2007, Laureate Chairman and CEO Douglas Becker established the David A. Wilson Award for Excellence in Teaching and Learning to recognize former board member Dr. David A. Wilson's dedicated service to the Laureate network. Each year, the award goes to two faculty members at Laureate International Universities institutions who are conducting research on innovation in teaching and learning in higher education. Each award winner receives a $50,000 grant to pursue the research projects proposed in his or her application. So far, more than 250 professors from 20 Laureate institutions have submitted research proposals.
