Global Days of Service
Every October, Laureate’s Global Days of Service provides an opportunity for students, staff, and faculty at institutions and offices all over the world to convene to express their commitment to their local communities and to celebrate the impact of our organization.
Global Days of Service began as an initiative of Walden University, a Laureate network institution, in 2006 and was quickly adopted by the entire Laureate International Universities network. Global Days of Service is one time of the year when the entire network comes together to celebrate the unique role every part of our network plays in their community. Since 2015, more than 110,000 Laureate staff, faculty and students from around the Laureate network have come together every October to collaborate in over 900 service events on six continents.
