Founded in 1960, Instituto Profesional (AIEP) prepares young adult and working professionals for careers in the global job market. More than 40,000 students take part in programs on 14 campuses located in Calama, Antofagasta, La Serena, San Felipe, Viña del Mar, Santiago, Santiago Providencia, Rancagua, Curicó, San Fernando, Concepción, Los Ángeles, Temuco and Puerto Montt.

Of special note are AIEP’s scholarships offered to students seeking to continue studies at Universidad Andrés Bello and AIEP’s executive evening program.

AIEP operates community health and social work campaigns.
Instituto Profesional AIEP has won the Bureau Veritas certificate award for Quality Management Systems for Technical Training Organizations. AIEP was the first Chilean postsecondary institution to receive ISO 9001:2008 certification.
