Residents of South Australia and members of the Laureate community came together over the last two months to share their creative suggestions to help us find the best and most representative name for Australia's newest university. We received several hundred great and creative suggestions. Due to the number of proposed names we have received from around the world, we are now closing the contest.

: Students will spend one or more trimesters abroad as part of their academic degree program to maximize the opportunity for global learning.

: Students will push beyond the boundaries of specific academic disciplines and cultures to earn the knowledge, skills and dispositions needed for a lifetime of achievement across many careers and in different countries and cultures.
Innovative Academic Programs
: A distinctive curriculum will demand deep levels of student engagement with the learning process.
Student engagement
: The university environment will enable students to develop skills, encourage them to grapple with concepts and ideas and then how to apply the earned knowledge into their future professions.
The new institution will be a truly global university with a diverse offering of programs and a learning community composed of the best students, faculty and staff.
