Background

Universidad Interamericana de Costa Rica (UICR) is one of Costa Rica’s premier private universities. With more than 4,000 students, UICR offers 35 degree programs in a wide range of professional disciplines at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

UICR is conveniently located in Heredia, “the City of Flowers”, 10 kilometers northwest from San José, the country’s capital. The campus has great facilities, including a cafeteria, library and computer center. The campus is surrounded by Heredia’s countryside, offering panoramic mountain views, volcanoes and different ecological sites of interest.
