Universidad Latinoamericana de Ciencia y Tecnología (ULACIT) opened its Panama City campus in 1991. Today, more than 3,600 students are enrolled in ULACIT’s undergraduate and graduate degree programs. ULACIT is a not-for-profit institution.

Students at Universidad Latinoamericana de Ciencia y Tecnología pursue undergraduate and graduate degrees as well as continuing education certificates in business administration, engineering, graphic design, health sciences, information technology, law and tourism administration. ULACIT is best known for its medical and dental schools and dual-degree programs with Laureate International Universities network institutions, including the doctoral program with the Universidad Europea de Madrid.

Universidad Latinoamericana de Ciencia y Tecnología operates free and low-cost legal and dental clinics.
