Universidad Latinoamericana de Ciencia y Tecnología (ULACIT), Panama’s leading private university opened its Panama City campus in 1991. Today, the university enrolls more than 3,600 students in a variety of undergraduate and graduate degree programs. ULACIT is a not-for-profit institution.

Students at the university obtain undergraduate and graduate degrees as well as continuing education certificates in ULACIT’s Business Administration, Engineering, Graphic Design, Health Sciences, Information Technology, Law, and Tourism Administration programs. Particularly well regarded are the university’s medical and dental schools and dual-degree programs with Laureate International Universities partner institutions, including the doctoral program with the Universidad Europea de Madrid.
