More than 31,500 students are enrolled at UNINORTE’s multiple campuses in Manaus, the capital of the state of Amazonas.

UNINORTE students pursue undergraduate and graduate degrees in health sciences, human sciences, social sciences, law, business administration, engineering, architecture and information technology. UNINORTE students are proud of the school’s research centers and distance learning capabilities. Master’s programs are offered in association with Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro, Universidade Federal de Pernambuco and Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina.

UNINORTE is accredited by the Brazilian Ministry of Education.

UNINORTE provides pro bono legal services and operates psychology and health clinics, as well as Empresa Júnior, an initiative to promote small businesses. The university community works with local nongovernmental organizations on literacy and environmental education projects.

UNINORTE is the largest center for teacher training and education in the state of Amazonas, according to INEP-Brazilian Institute of Educational Studies and Research.
