Hospitality
Today, Laureate’s most mature Center of Excellence is hospitality, delivering programs and opportunity to some 30,000 students recruited from 107 countries. Laureate hospitality education is led by Switzerland’s Glion Institute of Higher Education and Les Roches International School of Hotel Management, two of the world’s most respected and recognized names in hospitality higher education. Australia’s Blue Mountains International Hotel Management School, the Australian International Hotel School, Les Roches Jin Jiang International Hotel Management College, and Kendall College, one of the top 10 culinary schools in the U.S., contribute significantly while others such as Universidad del Valle de México have become integral partners in propagating Laureate hospitality programs, dual degrees, and student/faculty exchanges.
On the UVM campus, for example, students are enrolled in Glion hotel management programs, earning international associate degrees and certificates in hotel management along with the option to pursue a B.A. in hospitality from UVM or Glion in Switzerland.
Together, the institutions of Laureate hospitality education are the world’s largest provider of hospitality management education. Laureate hospitality programs are a leading source of professionals to the world’s best hospitality industry brands, with graduate (employment) placement rates exceeding 95 percent.
