Laureate’s Centers of Excellence in Art, Architecture and Design extends from Milan, Italy, to Santa Fe University of Art and Design in New Mexico, to NewSchool of Architecture and Design in San Diego, to Universidade Anhembi Morumbi in Brazil, and to Universidad del Valle de México. In all, Laureate has more than 34,000 students in 15 countries studying art, architecture and design.
Santa Fe University of Art and Design, located in Santa Fe, New Mexico, for example, offers undergraduate degrees in a wide range of creative art and design programs, including fine arts, graphic design, theatre, photography, creative writing, contemporary music, and moving image arts (filmmaking). The location of the university in Santa Fe is an outstanding destination for art and design with more than 300 art galleries, 12 world-class museums and an acclaimed opera company. Two Centers of Excellence in Art, Architecture and Design are located in Milan, Italy: Domus Academy and NABA. Domus Academy was the first post-graduate design school in Italy. Today it offers post-graduate courses in fashion design and management, interior design, architectural design, product and car design, and business. Domus Academy is also a leading center of design research in industrial creativity and aesthetic and consumer trends. In 2009, Domus Academy was ranked by Business Week magazine as one of top design schools in the world.

NABA, founded in 1980 in Milan, offers a diverse portfolio of undergraduate and post-graduate programs in fields such as fashion and textile design, graphic design, visual arts, theatre design, interior design, landscape design, photography and multimedia communications. NABA is recognized by the Italian Ministry of Education, Technology and Research. All degrees are Bologna-compliant, enabling students to have their degrees recognized internationally.
NewSchool of Architecture and Design, located in San Diego, California, is a leader in architecture education. Anhembi Morumbi, in Sao Paolo, Brazil, offers programs in fashion design, animation design, and interior design as well as architecture. In Mexico, Universidad del Valle de Mexico offers degrees in architecture and design, including graphic and industrial design degrees.
